The cave is a work conceived specifically for the first edition of Becuadro, inspired by the painting entitled ‘The cave of Nerja’ by the painter Cheryle Rome Beatty. The work stands as a metaphor for the artist’s life. In it, the solitude and silence of the cave take on a conscious dimension, inviting us to reflect on how the echoes of our words, actions and emotions shape the time and space of our existence. Just as the imposing forms and undulating lines of the painting suggest movement and depth, the music translates that visual language into resonances that explore the tangible and the intangible.
Ultimately, the work invites us to contemplate life as a space full of echoes, where vulnerability and connection to the eternal find expression in the cracks and shadows, which reveal their intrinsic purpose and beauty.

The echo calls in the cave, it waits for no answer.
It is a still wind, a trace of a naked voice.
In the half-light, the stone embraces lines of water.
Every curve is a beginning, every crack, its word.
A tunnel opens its arms, it has no hurry, no owner.
The sound crosses time, and the cave holds a dream.
